The works of « Sleep Harder », a series of porcelain objects modelled after traditional pillows, begin as textile prototypes. Trained in fashion design at the Universität der Künste Berlin, Anh first constructs each object by hand in fabric, then casts it in slip. The porcelain preserves every fold, every seam, and the texture of the cloth original — a trompe-l'œil that appears soft, yet is entirely ceramic.

The guiding reference is the ancient Chinese porcelain pillow. From a present-day perspective, it appears purely decorative, almost paradoxical as an object meant for sleep. Yet historically, these objects were both functional and ornamental, used in everyday life while carrying cultural and decorative significance.
